About you:
As a QA Automation Engineer specialising in the Mintsoft 3PL module, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our automation test strategy. You\’ll focus on building and maintaining automated tests for the Mintsoft web application, ensuring comprehensive coverage and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes. You\’ll work closely with developers and product managers to deliver high-quality software releases.
Mintsoft is a leading cloud-based SaaS platform that empowers online retailers, 3PLs, and fulfillment houses to streamline order management and fulfillment. With seamless integration across 150+ marketplaces, couriers, and shopping carts, Mintsoft is crucial for our customers\’ operational efficiency.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Develop and Implement Automation Test Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive automation test strategy specifically for the Mintsoft 3PL module, focusing on web application testing.
• Build and Maintain Automated Test Suites: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Focus on Web Application Testing: Primarily focus on automating tests for the Mintsoft web application, ensuring thorough coverage of 3PL-specific functionalities.
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to implement test automation within the CI/CD pipeline, promoting a \”shift-left\” testing approach.
• Develop and Maintain Test Frameworks: Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust and scalable automation test frameworks.
• Perform Bug Tracking and Reporting: Accurately document and track defects, providing clear and concise reports for the development team.
• Analyse Test Results and Perform Root Cause Analysis: Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Integrate Automation with CI/CD Pipelines: Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for efficient and reliable software releases.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Solid background in QA with a thorough understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests, with a keen interest in adopting and learning new testing frameworks and technologies.
• Proficient in applying the testing pyramid concept to create effective and efficient test suites.
• It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience with testing frameworks and knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for writing automated tests.
