Location: Speedwell Court, Mansbridge Road, West End, Southampton, SO18 3HW.
Pay: £14.77 p/h – £15.24 p/h
Hours: 42 hours average per week, based on a 2‑week rolling rota. Shifts include alternate weekend working. Shifts: 8pm‑8am.
Role
- Overall responsibility for regular monitoring of the health, care and social needs of residents as the recognised Senior Carer on the shift.
- Preparation, implementation and review of personal care plans, including the administration of medication.
- Supervise, support, coach and develop other team members; liaise with residents and external carer services, ensuring residents’ needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.
- Lead the team and respond to emergencies when staff or residents need help.
About You
- Experienced Carer, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or committed to working towards this.
- Demonstrated organisational and staff‑management skills, with competence in writing, updating care plans and administering medication.
- Passionate and committed to providing exceptional care to residents, their families and friends.
