We are looking to recruit a motivated, innovative team member to teach in Key Stage 1. The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher and will make a significant contribution to the continuing success of our school and our children. The successful candidate will hold the same ethos and values as Abbey Park.

Abbey Park Primary School has an Autism Base along with a much higher proportion than the national average of children with significant complex need, therefore inclusion, meeting the needs of all and resilience must be areas of strength. Abbey Park expects all members of staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions.
