We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Abbey Wood on a temporary basis, starting ASAP until July. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with engaging music lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and a love for performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage student participation in both practical and theoretical aspects of music.
- Support extracurricular activities such as choir, bands, or school performances.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching Music at secondary level.
- Be confident teaching a range of musical styles and instruments.
