Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal looking to take the next step in your legal career? A well-established and highly respected North West law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paralegal to join its busy and growing Probate Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing Private Client experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive firm that actively invests in progression, including routes into a Solicitor Apprenticeship, CILEX qualification, or Training Contract.
Joining a friendly and collaborative team, you'll work closely with elderly clients and their families, handling a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion. This role offers excellent client contact and the chance to build upon your technical knowledge while developing long‑term career prospects within a respected regional practice.
Key Responsibilities- Managing your own caseload of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney matters
- Taking instructions from clients and providing professional advice
- Drafting Wills and LPAs
- Maintaining and updating the case management system
- Liaising with clients, families, care homes and third parties
- Attending clients at nursing homes and private residences
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
- Ensuring files are accurately maintained and compliant
- Supporting the wider Probate team as required
- Previous experience handling Wills and LPA matters from instruction to completion
- Strong knowledge of Private Client work, including Wills, LPAs and ideally Estate Administration
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career within Private Client law
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
