In a large multinational environment, as Indirect Tax Manager, you will take ownership of UK VAT compliance whilst supporting indirect tax activities across several European jurisdictions. You will act as the key VAT specialist for the business, providing robust technical advice and ensuring compliance obligations are met accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of end-to-end UK VAT compliance processes
- Review and oversight of UK VAT returns and associated submissions
- Review and support of VAT compliance across Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland and other European jurisdictions
- Advising on major projects, cross-border transactions and joint operations
- Acting as the key contact for HMRC and managing VAT-related enquiries
- Supporting SAO reporting requirements relating to VAT
