Our practice has a strong team of 12 vets, including certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine & Radiology, visiting specialists, an exceptionally skilled nursing team, and support colleagues. We serve a stable, loyal client base with a focus on quality care.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Full‑time or part‑time consideration for the right candidate (minimum 25 hours per week, up to full time)
  • Monday‑Friday work schedule with willingness to share a Saturday rota for MRCVS candidates
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to senior colleagues and the veterinary team
  • Set and maintain high clinical and operational standards, ensuring excellent patient care and performance
  • Develop and inspire teams, fostering a people‑centred mindset
  • Contribute to the long‑term financial sustainability of the practice through service development and growth initiatives
  • Hold responsibility for operational performance and effective practice delivery
  • Work in partnership with the Business Development Director and engage with the wider VetPartners network
  • Foster strong team relationships and enable others to thrive
  • Show strong communication skills, sound judgement when juggling priorities, and effective delegation

Qualifications and Attributes

  • MRCVS not essential but desirable
  • Proven leadership style that is supportive and people‑focused
  • Forward‑thinking, positive outlook and motivation to shape ongoing development of the practice
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for influencing clinical standards, culture, and direction
