Produce accurate and timely site reports following each job. Maintain company equipment including PPE, tools, and vehicle. Support and assist other engineers where required. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery. Report near misses, incidents, or safety concerns promptly. Assist with training and mentoring of colleagues when required.You will work closely with management, maintaining clear communication around job schedules, site requirements, and overtime approvals.
About You
A minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering or field service environment Experience within the materials handling industry worked with lifts, pallets, conveyors, elevators. Mechanical experience with basic electrical Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001 preferred) The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. A proactive, organised, and safety-focused approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Qualifications & Certifications
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths & English (Grade C / 4 or above) NVQ or City and Guilds qualified UK Driving Licence IPAF, RTITB & CSCS (or willingness to obtain) First Aid trained Competent with Microsoft Office 365 ERP system experience (SAP preferred) DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
