An established facilities and maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Mobile Combustion Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across sites in the Midlands, with a primary focus on Stoke-on-Trent. This is a mobile role offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair of heating and hot water systems, along with general plumbing works
  • Diagnose faults accurately and carry out effective repairs
  • Complete installation works and all relevant certification
  • Undertake basic building fabric repairs when required
  • Ensure plant faults and defects are rectified promptly to maintain operational performance
  • Manage spares requirements, including producing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works
  • Complete Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) prior to starting work
  • Record and report safety concerns via the relevant reporting system
  • Attend site in response to breakdowns or equipment failures, including participation in an on-call rota
  • Work in accordance with contractual requirements and client authorisation
