Overview
Our client is a well-respected Costs Firm who pride themselves on client care and development of their team. We are looking for experienced Claimant Costs Draftspersons\' / Costs Lawyers who preferably specialise in Court of Protection.
Responsibilities
- Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format.
- Preparing Costs Budgets in the form Precedent H in accordance with departmental requirements/workstreams.
- Managing your own caseload, dealing with complex matters.
- Client care and business development.
What we need from you
- Minimum of 2 years\' experience in costs – in-house or external costs.
- Experience in bill drafting, budgeting and negotiations.
- Knowledge of CostsMaster.
- Desire to grow and develop.
- Happy to discuss consultancy arrangements for the right candidate.

- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexible working available)
- Location: North of England; Hybrid or remote working (fortnightly meetings at one of their modern offices in the North of England)
- Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + bonuses
