We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to assist in keeping our kitchen area clean and organised and compliant with Health & Safety regulations. Our Kitchen is at the heart of our Food & Beverage department providing food for our guests 24 hours a day. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be cleaning our busy kitchen structure & equipment and helping the chefs deliver the best possible standards to our guests.

As a Kitchen Porter you will have:

  • Prior experience of commercial cleaning, ideally in a busy kitchen.
  • Physical fitness (as the work is hands on and will require some lifting, loading and operating of machines).
  • A strong work ethic and flexibility in the shifts you can work
  • Basic knowledge of health & safety practices & be able to follow safe working procedures
  • Attention to detail, even when working under pressure
  • Ability to follow instruction and be able to show initiative
  • Good communication skills

What will I be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

  • Operating the dishwasher
  • Moving equipment around the kitchen for chefs
  • Collecting and taking out rubbish and waste
  • Maintaining good hygiene and health & safety practices
  • Actively developing your kitchen skills and knowledge in order to progress including completing e-learning modules.
