This is an excellent opportunity to join our small brigade of chefs as a Commis Chef helping to produce quality fresh food for our Restaurant, Bar, Room Service and Banqueting areas.
Our team of chefs are essential to the success of our busy restaurant, bars and meeting and events spaces and as Commis Chef, keen to develop skills and succeed; you will prepare and produce quality food to the highest standard.

As Commis Chef you will have...
- Previous experience of food production, preparation and presentation, ideally in a commercial kitchen
- A foundation food preparation qualification, or this may be something that we can assist you with by studying for an Apprenticeship.
- A genuine interest in food and a enthusiasm for creating good food
- A willingness to work hard in a busy environment
- The ability to display food safety knowledge in every aspect of your working day.
- Good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Flexibility in your working hours as you will be required to work Early and Late Shifts on a 5 day rota including weekends and bank holidays.
What will I be doing as Commis Chef?
- Working in a professional kitchen supporting experienced chefs.
- Developing existing cooking skills and preparing and presenting high quality dishes within Company guidelines.
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness meeting all health, safety and hygiene regulations.
- Working as part of a team to exceed our guest's expectations at all times.
