Within The AA’s Driving School, we’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. This is your chance to work in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers to design intuitive web products and apps that enhance customer engagement and streamline their journey.
What will I be doing?
- Design user-centric solutions from wireframes and prototypes to polished user interfaces.
- Set a vision for the user experience and bring it to life through research and prototyping.
- Work autonomously, taking ownership of your work with a keen eye for detail.
- Rapidly produce and iterate on concepts, knowing when to apply high fidelity and when to keep it low.
- Play an active role in ensuring the quality of designs developed.
- Make strategic design decisions that align with our features and user needs.
- Embrace a user-centred design approach, testing and iterating your designs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to develop new products and enhance our brand.
What do I need?
- Proven experience in UX and UI design within dynamic environments, showcasing strong skills in research and discovery processes.
- Skilled in visual and interaction design, with proficiency in prototyping tools, especially Figma.
- Familiarity with other tools such as Sketch, Invision, and Framer is beneficial.
- Knowledgeable in conducting usability testing, A/B testing, and applying various testing methodologies.
- An individual with a growth mindset, excelling in a lean, Agile framework.
