As our Roadside Recovery Driver, you'll go the extra mile for our customers. Anything can happen whilst driving, but it's OK we are the AA! We get everyone back on the road safely and get their day moving again.
What this role is: You’ll be the friendly face of the UK's largest motoring organisation. To our customers, you're the superhero. Ready for anything, you'll be there for them, anytime, anywhere and in any weather. You'll get their day moving again by using your technical skills to load vehicles onto your truck and getting the vehicle and customer to a garage for repair, or wherever they need to be.
Responsibilities:
- Communicator: Great with customers, calming, reassuring and professional, ensuring they feel safe and that their needs are being taken care of.
- Self‑starter: Work independently or as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers.
- Fixer/problem solver: Thrive in all situations, use expertise to solve a variety of issues.
Requirements:
- Live within 25 miles and 1 hour travel from the depot.
- Full driving category C (HGV 2) licence. CE (HGV 1) preferred.
- Driver CPC certificate and digital drivers/tachograph card.
- Comfortable adapting to new technology; training will be provided.
- Happy to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
