As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.

Role Responsibilities

  • Be a friendly, professional face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, providing roadside assistance to members in need
  • Diagnose vehicle issues and carry out repairs or recover vehicles as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repairs and procedures clearly
  • Work independently and as part of a team, driving to various locations in all weather conditions

Candidate Requirements

  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
  • Full category B driving license with 6 points or less
  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
