Location: Basingstoke – Resident role based across the Patrol Centre and Basingstoke Office, with a blend of office and hybrid working.

Role Overview: As a Training Delivery & Support Specialist, you’ll bring learning to life by delivering engaging remote and face‑to‑face training to our Roadside Operations teams. You’ll help colleagues build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging face‑to‑face, virtual and field‑based training programmes.
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing development of customer‑facing colleagues through high‑quality induction, refresher and upskilling training.
  • Ensure all learning activity is delivered in line with governance, compliance, regulatory and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Roadside Training Manager and Learning Designers to develop, implement and continuously improve learning solutions.
  • Embed new ways of working and support key transformation programmes through effective training delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide expert coaching, guidance and learning support to colleagues and leaders.
  • Develop and support Business Trainers, sharing best practice and strengthening delivery standards.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to identify performance trends, skills gaps and development opportunities.
  • Evaluate learner feedback, training outcomes and operational performance data.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of the latest learning methodologies, technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • A recognised automotive qualification, such as IMI or City & Guilds Automotive Parts 1, 2 and 3, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A strong automotive, mechanical or electrical engineering background with up‑to‑date technical knowledge.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • The confidence to act as a credible subject‑matter expert.
  • A proven ability to coach, support and develop others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Good report‑writing and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive and self‑motivated approach.
