- As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments completing service inspections, breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and keep things running smoothly.
- You will be the friendly face who provides a first-class service and repair work, whether at customers’ workplace or home. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you excel in your role.
- You will be the master of diagnostics and delighting customers, sharing knowledge in a way customers understand.
- You will drive to various locations in all weathers; appointment-based work and breakdowns provide variety.

What you’ll be doing
- A communicator: you are our master of diagnostics and fundamental in delighting your customers. You explain situations clearly so customers understand and feel confident their needs are taken care of.
- A self-starter: you thrive working independently or in a team, driving to various locations in all weathers. No two jobs are the same; you’ll have appointment-based work and breakdowns.
- A fixer/problem solver: you use your technical ability to solve a variety of issues, whether roadside repairs or appointments, helping customers get back on the road.
- As the friendly face of The AA, you’ll be there for members anytime, anywhere and in any weather, building confidence for drivers now and in the future.
What you’ll need
- NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with the right experience
- Full category B driving license, with 6 points or less
- Happy with flexible hours, which could include evenings

Salary and benefits
- Basic Salary £37,155.00; OTE £44,000.00. Overtime paid at time and a half.
- Overtime available at the end of your shift and on Saturdays.
