The Service Maintenance and Repair Technician will provide first‑class service and repairs at customers’ workplaces or homes as part of our mobile mechanic team.

Responsibilities

  • Communicator – You are the master of diagnostics and essential in delighting your customers. You share knowledge clearly so they understand the situation and feel safe.
  • Self‑starter – You thrive working independently or with a team, driving to various locations in all weathers. No job is the same; you will handle a mix of appointments and breakdowns.
  • Fixer/Problem Solver – You utilise your technical ability to solve a variety of issues, whether roadside repairs or in‑house appointments.
  • Friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation – You are the superhero ready for anything, anytime, anywhere and in any weather, helping customers get their day moving again.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with demonstrable industry experience within a workshop environment.
  • Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
