This role is integral to the success of the new Strategy, Planning and Operations function within Group Marketing, leading on dual day-to-day responsibilities which cover Strategy and Planning across Group Marketing and the transformation of Customer Operations Communications to a more digital-led experience.
You will build up a central view of what everyone across Marketing is up to, with a focus on improving strategic alignment of all group marketing communications through new monthly, quarterly, and annual planning review processes. You will also be supporting the delivery of integral strategic marketing initiatives, such as reviewing group segmentation and evolving marketing effectiveness.
In addition, the Customer Operations part of the role involves operating the day-to-day relationship with our new end-to-end supplier, Paragon, who is responsible for managing fulfilment of all transactional communications and Marketing DMs.
What will I be doing?
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Facilitate and support seamless delivery of newly established Group Marketing monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes, which provides central marketing visibility and supports P&Ls with their marketing plans.
- Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Support delivery of strategic group marketing initiatives, such as evolving existing segmentation and reviewing our approach to Marketing Effectiveness.
- Group Marketing Communications Plan Management: Assist in managing and communicating the overall group marketing communications plan by collaborating closely with Group Marketing and business area marketing leads.
- Group Marketing KPI Visibility: Work alongside the Group Marketing Analyst in harnessing the insight from the monthly Group KPI performance overview.
- Marketing Insight Sharing: Capture, process, and share marketing performance insight across the AA group.
- Unified Messaging Ownership: Manage the day-to-day of Group Marketing Messaging Log.
- Customer Operations Communication Transformation: Be across the full suite of transactional and marketing direct-mail communications across the AA group.
- Communications Optimisation: Drive forward an optimised customer experience.
- Briefing Processes and Foresight: Play a key role in integrated BTL briefing processes.
- Financial Management: Ensure seamless and timely financial management with internal teams and the supplier.
