We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior People Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our fast-growing CarCare division at the AA. This is a unique opportunity to partner directly with senior leadership, including the Managing Director, in a business that is scaling rapidly and set to be a major driver of growth over the next five years. You’ll operate as a true strategic partner, working from a “blank sheet of paper” to design and deliver people solutions that enable transformation, growth and performance. With significant scope to make your mark, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings fresh thinking, and is motivated by building something new while influencing at executive level.
What will I be doing?
- Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver a forward‑looking people strategy aligned to ambitious growth plans.
- Lead organisational design, transformation and change initiatives in a scaling, evolving business.
- Provide expert, commercially focused HR consultancy to solve complex business challenges.
- Use data and insight to influence decision‑making and drive improvements in engagement, retention and performance.
- Build strong talent and succession plans to ensure future capability across the business.
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to deliver integrated, high‑impact people solutions.
What do I need?
- Proven experience as a Senior HR/People Business Partner in a complex, fast‑paced organisation.
- Strong track record of leading change and transformation, ideally within a growing or evolving business area.
- Highly credible with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills with the confidence to work independently and create solutions from first principles.
- Commercially astute with the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes.
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating in ambiguity with a proactive, delivery‑focused mindset.
