At the AA, we’re building AI capabilities that create meaningful impact for our customers, colleagues and commercial performance. As part of our AI Centre of Excellence, this role offers the opportunity to shape and scale AI solutions across key commercial growth areas including pricing, acquisition, marketing and customer engagement.
As a Senior AI Product Owner (Commercial), you’ll work at the centre of our AI mission, partnering with senior leaders and commercial teams to identify high value opportunities and turn them into measurable business outcomes. This is a highly visible role with significant autonomy, combining strategic influence with hands on delivery to help accelerate AI adoption across the organisation.
What will I be doing?
- Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial and customer focused functions to shape and prioritise AI opportunities that drive growth and customer value
- Lead discovery activity to define user problems, identify opportunities and develop AI use cases with clear measurable outcomes
- Own and manage a prioritised AI portfolio and roadmap, balancing impact, feasibility, speed to value and risk
- Translate ideas into actionable plans, working with specialist teams to move solutions from concept through to adoption
- Support the delivery of lightweight AI and automation solutions using configurable and low code tools where appropriate
- Drive adoption and value realisation through effective stakeholder engagement, training, measurement and continuous improvement
What do I need?
- Proven experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis or Transformation roles, delivering measurable business outcomes
- Experience partnering with commercial, marketing, growth or customer focused teams to deliver digital, AI or automation solutions that improve acquisition, conversion, pricing effectiveness or customer engagement
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong understanding of AI and Generative AI capabilities, with the ability to translate business challenges into practical solutions
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, coordinating across multiple teams and maintaining momentum from discovery through to delivery
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to support prioritisation, decision making and continuous iteration
