As a Mobile Mechanic, you’ll be the friendly face delivering first‑class service and repair work at our customers’ homes or workplaces. Enjoy a great work‑life balance with shifts Monday to Saturday, covering hours between 8am and 8pm, with optional overtime available at the end of your shift.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly with customers, explaining diagnostics and repairs so they feel confident and informed.
  • Work independently across multiple locations in all weather conditions.
  • Diagnose and fix a wide range of vehicle issues, both roadside and at scheduled appointments.
  • Represent the AA as a trusted expert and reassuring presence for our members.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the community to help grow local demand.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
  • Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • OTE: £46,832 – £48,795 depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Overtime paid at time and a half.
