As the Head of Digital Architecture you will be a strategic and technically credible leader, shaping a groupâwide digital and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with longâterm business goals and customer outcomes, and driving enterpriseâscale transformation across a ÂŁ20m+ investment portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the digital architecture vision and roadmap across web, mobile, APIs, and customer platforms.
- Lead the transition to modern, cloudânative architectures (APIâfirst, eventâdriven, composable).
- Drive groupâwide digital architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise and customer outcomes.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of architects, ensuring highâquality solution design and governance.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, translating complex architecture into clear valueâdriven outcomes.
- Champion AIâenabled architecture and emerging technologies, embedding innovation into digital platforms.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated seniorâlevel expertise in digital architecture across web and mobile platforms within largeâscale, enterprise environments.
- Strong capability spanning business, solution, and strategic architecture, with experience operating in complex organisational landscapes.
- Proven people leadership and lineâmanagement experience, building and leading highâperforming architecture teams.
- Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, supported by a broad and adaptable technical perspective.
- Established track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering impactful, largeâscale digital transformation initiatives.
