What will I be doing?

  • Defining and delivering the Insurance product strategy and roadmap to support customer, commercial and regulatory objectives
  • Leading the ongoing development and optimisation of the AA's Insurance Broker product portfolio
  • Owning product fees, charges and add‐on pricing strategies to deliver fair value and profitability
  • Monitoring product performance, customer outcomes and conduct metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Identifying risks, trends and opportunities and implementing effective, timely solutions
  • Making key product decisions balancing customer needs, commercial performance and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with cross‐functional teams to enhance customer experience and improve product performance
  • Managing product governance, conduct risk and FCA compliance across the Insurance Broker portfolio
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third‐party partners to deliver shared objectives
  • Acting as a subject‐matter expert and senior leader within the Broker Extended Leadership Team

What do I need?

  • Proven experience leading Product Management teams within an FCA regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, pricing structures and fair value principles
  • Excellent commercial awareness supported by strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Deep knowledge of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty and customer outcome frameworks
  • Ability to balance customer outcomes, commercial performance and operational delivery
  • Confidence influencing stakeholders and leading cross‐functional initiatives across complex environments
  • Track record of building, developing and leading high‐performing teams
  • Strong governance and risk management capability with experience managing regulatory change
  • Customer‐focused approach with the ability to use data and insight to identify risks and opportunities
  • Resilient and collaborative leadership style with the flexibility to operate strategically and hands‐on when needed
