Role Overview:
The Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is an integral part of our mobile mechanic team, delivering first‑class service and repairs to customers at their workplaces or homes.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining diagnoses and repair needs.
- Work independently or as part of a team, traveling to various locations regardless of weather.
- Diagnose and fix vehicle issues on the roadside or at appointments.
- Provide exceptional service, acting as the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent with demonstrable workshop experience.
- Full Category B driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Pre‑employment checks including references, credit, and criminal record will be conducted as part of onboarding.
