Role Details
- Location: Basingstoke – hybrid 3x per week in the office
- Employment Type: Full time permanent
- Salary: Competitive salary
- Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
What will I be doing?
- Leading on VAT matters across the AA Group, acting as the primary contact and ensuring full compliance with legislation.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns under PESM, including reverse charge calculations, annual adjustments, and Capital Goods Scheme compliance.
- Providing technical VAT advice on new products, services, and contracts to ensure correct tax treatment and mitigate risk.
- Supporting financial operations by working with Financial Systems and Finance Business Partners on variable recovery rates and VAT reconciliations.
- Handling HMRC enquiries professionally and monitoring legislative changes, working with the Head of Tax.
