This role is integral to the success of the new Strategy, Planning and Operations function within Group Marketing, providing marketing performance insight across the group. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you’ll serve as the go-to person for group marketing performance insights and be a key contributor to monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews and planning processes. In addition, you’ll conduct specific marketing campaign analysis, covering a wide breadth of channels and business areas, from digital marketing to CRM, to brand, working cross-functionally to improve our understanding of the drivers of marketing effectiveness.

What will I be doing?

  • Measurement Frameworks, KPI Dashboards and Reports: Maintain and optimise KPI dashboards and marketing frameworks, providing regular performance updates across the group to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Insights: Build strong relationships with Marketing colleagues, helping to proactively identify, clearly visualise and explain performance hypotheses.
  • Growth Opportunities: Proactively identify new marketing opportunities based on the ongoing reporting and campaign analysis that you are doing and work with the Marketing Manager in your team to propose growth initiatives using your insight.
  • Campaign Analysis: Conduct marketing campaign analysis across various products and services and play a key role in campaign planning and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Data Interpretation: Evaluate large data volumes (e.g., brand tracking, share of search, site visits, sales, CRM, digital marketing metrics, member data, etc.) and visualise clearly and simply.
  • Supplier Management: Support management of external supplier of Marketing Mix Modelling ensuring smooth project management, timely delivery, and action-led outputs.

What do I need?

  • Marketing Analytics: Experience in marketing communication channel analytics, with an understanding of the difference between brand and acquisition approaches.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and insightful analysis, contributing to commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Analytics Simplification: Skilled at translating complex analytics into actionable recommendations, collaborating closely with operational teams.
  • Marketing Mix Modelling: Understand its role in marketing measurement through prior exposure and therefore are confident to challenge an external modelling partner regarding model outputs.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understands and actively contributes to the broader business strategy and objectives.
  • Effective Collaboration: Well-organised team player who can manage multiple tasks, work with diverse stakeholders, and communicate effectively, even with non-analytical colleagues.
  • Numeracy and Tools: Highly proficient in data manipulation and relevant analytical tools, including advanced Excel and SQL (SAS experience preferred).
  • Education and Qualifications: Holds a degree-level qualification or equivalent in an analytical discipline (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering).
  • Drive, Passion and Self-Improvement: Motivated individual with the energy to enhance business performance and demonstrates a hunger for knowledge and skill development.
