Employment Type: Full time, permanent

Salary: £29,350 (based on an average 40 hour working week)

On Target Earnings: Top performers can earn upwards of OTE £44,000

Start Date: 13th of April 2026

Please note: Due to essential training requirements, annual leave cannot be taken between 13th April and 31st May; these periods are critical to the success of the programme and ensure all trainees receive the full benefit of the training schedule.

What will I be doing?

  • Duration: A comprehensive 18-month journey where you’ll dive into the latest automotive technologies with workshops led by our inhouse training experts
  • Mentorship: You will be paired with a seasoned patrol expert, providing one-on-one guidance
  • Real-World Experience: Gain practical on the job experience
  • Certification: Earn IMI and EV certifications that will set you apart in the industry
  • End of the programme: To be a fully competent roadside AA Patrol, with potential to increase pay and benefits
  • Starting and finishing work on your driveway (paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home). Sign on locations also available for discussion
  • Each year, choose your standby hours preferences to suit your lifestyle and work life balance

What do I need?

  • Some experience in vehicle maintenance and repair and customer service
  • It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less. If you don’t also have category BE (towing) we’ll fund it for you.
  • To be happy working shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
