We're looking for a Senior Reward Business Partner to join our team and play a leading role in shaping our reward agenda. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, influence strategic decisions, and lead complex reward projects that have a genuine impact across the business. You’ll bring deep reward expertise, strong commercial judgement and the credibility to challenge and influence at senior levels. What will I be doing?
- Play a key role in shaping and delivering reward solutions that support our people strategy, drive business performance and help The AA attract, retain and motivate exceptional talent
- Lead high impact reward projects, taking ideas from concept through to successful implementation
- Partner with senior leaders and executives to provide expert reward advice and influence strategic decision making
- Shape and evolve our reward strategy, ensuring it supports business priorities, attracts top talent and drives colleague engagement
- Analyse market trends, benchmarking data and workforce insights to develop evidence based recommendations
- Design and enhance compensation, benefits and recognition programmes that deliver value for both colleagues and the business
- Ensure reward policies and practices remain fair, compliant and aligned with regulatory requirements and best practice
- Drive continuous improvement across reward processes, systems and ways of working
- Bring fresh thinking, external market insight and innovative approaches to keep our reward offering competitive and relevant
- Build strong relationships across the business, becoming a trusted partner on all aspects of reward
What do I need?
Capability, Knowledge And Experience
- Significant experience across the full spectrum of Reward, including compensation, benefits, recognition and reward governance
- Strong project leadership skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and delivering complex initiatives in a dynamic environment
- A proven track record of developing and delivering reward strategies that support business objectives and enhance the colleague experience
- Credibility and confidence to influence, challenge and advise senior leaders and executive stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance market competitiveness, business performance and colleague value
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and translate insights into clear recommendations and action
- Sound knowledge of reward governance, regulation and compliance, with a commitment to fair and equitable reward practices
- Experience using job evaluation methodologies, ideally Willis Towers Watson, or the ability to quickly apply comparable frameworks
