The AA is seeking a Technical Helpdesk Advisor to join their team in Cheadle Hulme, England, United Kingdom.

As a Technical Advisor at The AA, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting customers and contact centre staff with your knowledge and experience. You’ll provide expert advice to our customers via the telephone and be the go-to expert for customers seeking telephone fixes and supporting the business by only sending patrols to where they are needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential technical support, advice, and repair fixes to our customers.
  • Ensure efficient communication and effective resolution of breakdowns for our customers.
  • Record data on the relevant databases, contributing to detailed management insights and facilitating efficient decision-making.
  • Provide advice, simplifying information so the customer understands, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Achieve results as a target-driven individual.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification, alongside substantial experience in the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry.
  • A fixer/problem solver with technical expertise to help solve a variety of issues.
  • A master communicator, taking complex technical information and communicating it in a simple and effective way.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work outside normal hours on a roster basis that includes weekends.
