Role Description
The Depot Manager/Supervisor role at The A1 Group, A1 Loo Hire Division is a full-time, on-site position located in our Coventry office.
As we are one of the countries leading providers of temporary toilets and welfare facilities, for both construction and outdoor event markets, we are seeking a knowledgeable Depot Manager/Supervisor, or even a Senior Hire Controller within the industry, looking to take their next step within their career.
In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a large number of staff and customer accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires you to be hands on, combining the day to day running of the office, office staff, drivers and yard staff, to dealing with customer queries, bookings and being fully knowledgeable and active on our systems, a real team player.
Responsibilities will also include implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. The Depot Manager/Supervisor will ensure efficient and effective depot management while upholding company standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Operations Management
- Experience in Team Management and Customer Service
- Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in the waste management industry is required
- Computer literate, including the use of Microsoft Programmes, Outlook, Google Sheets, and CRM Systems.
This role is Full Time, Monday to Friday
Working Hours – 7.30am – 17:00pm
Salary – £35,000 – £40,000 Per Year, depending on experience.
