We’re looking for a natural connector to help grow The 93% Club in the North West - managing our partnerships, events and our community on the ground, and making the North West feel like home for state-educated talent.

About The 93% Club: We’re the UK’s first, largest and fastest-growing network for state-educated people. Think of us as the alumni network state schoolers never got - community, connections, opportunities and a louder collective voice. We’re a social enterprise on a mission to make state school pride the norm, not the exception. With 70+ student clubs nationwide, a thriving professionals’ network and a roster of top graduate employers, we help our members connect, upskill, and pay it forward. 100% of our profits go straight back into the mission.

The Role: We’ve just launched our first regional hub, and we’re looking for a superstar Membership Manager to run our partnership accounts, deliver a premium experience for their people, and build our Manchester community from there. This is a hands-on role for someone proactive, empathetic and excited to roll up their sleeves across operations, partnerships and events. You’ll work alongside brands that genuinely care about social mobility, deepen your experience in community and partnerships, and make sure our growing North West community feels right at home. If you love moving fast, building relationships and turning a room of strangers into a community, you’ll fly here.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnerships & Accounts: Manage relationships with our regional partners as their primary point of contact — proactively nurturing, growing and renewing them. Lead partner engagement strategies, finding new ways to deepen relationships and drive renewal. Support new partnerships across the North West, from first conversation through to delivery. Engage and manage members from partner organisations, tracking their engagement.
  • Events: Plan and deliver in-person events across the region, from member roundtables to flagship moments - scoping, facilitation and follow-up. Build the kind of events that turn a room of strangers into a community.
  • Communications & Content: Write and manage regional comms, tracking performance and optimising engagement. Create content and storytelling that draws on our genuine North West identity. Be a friendly, approachable voice for the region online — and keep partners in the loop on what we’re doing and how it’s going.
  • Operations: Support the day-to-day running of our North West hub, supporting the Head of North West with ad-hoc requests and logistics. Track activity and engagement across the region, monitoring performance against KPIs and spotting trends and opportunities.

You’ll thrive here if you are…

  • Rooted in the North West — you know the region, you care about it, and you want to build something here.
  • A natural relationship-builder: friendly, approachable, and brilliant at energising people.
  • A self-starter - proactive, resourceful, and happy to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Highly organised and reliable, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams at once.
  • A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas to processes, partnerships and engagement.
  • Data-aware: comfortable tracking metrics and using insight to drive improvement.
  • #StateSchoolProud - genuinely committed to transforming the state-educated experience in the UK.

What you bring: We’re a small team with big ambitions, and we welcome conversations from people who don’t tick every box, or who bring strengths we hadn’t even thought of yet. If you think you’d be a great fit, please do reach out.

  • Around 2 years’ experience in a partnerships, operations or community role.
  • Experience in account management, ideally managing partner or client relationships.
  • Experience delivering events end to end.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a strong eye for tone and detail.
  • Outstanding customer service instincts and a willingness to go the extra mile for members and partners.
  • An efficient operator who balances quality work with the need to move quickly.
  • Confident using - or quickly learning - tools like Google Workspace, email management systems and Slack.
  • A deep commitment to The 93% Club’s mission.

What we offer: A role where you genuinely shape a growing national movement — starting in the North West. A supportive, mission-driven team. Real autonomy and space to be creative. Hybrid working and a flexible culture. The chance to change this country for the better.

The Process: Application: share your personal details and an up-to-date CV. Virtual interview with Imogen Carr, Head of North West. In-person task interview: a short task based on the kind of project you’d actually work on.

Right to work: You must have the right to work in the UK. We’re unable to offer sponsorship for this role, and we can’t consider overseas applications at this time.

Our commitment to equity: We’re an equal opportunities employer - and proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of class, socioeconomic background, race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We know qualifications and experience come in many forms, and we value potential - so if you don’t meet every single requirement, apply anyway.
