Incipio curates beautiful spaces with vibrant atmospheres for great times. The 411, Angel is a high energy neighbourhood bar and kitchen serving bold, American inspired food with a playful edge. Known for its buzzing atmosphere and standout themed nights, The 411 is all about great flavours, great times, and a kitchen that delivers every single service.

We're looking for a Head Chef who loves being in the thick of it, leading a fast paced kitchen, owning the food offering end to end, and bringing American comfort classics to life with consistency, quality, and flair. From smash burgers and fried chicken to themed menus that get guests talking, this is a hands on role where creativity and execution go hand in hand.

We Expect You To:
  • Have a passion for all things hospitality and the ability to drive your kitchen team to achieve the commercial and financial needs of the business.
  • Curate a positive working atmosphere and are obsessed with inspiring your entire kitchen team to deliver to the highest standard on every shift.
  • Own and deliver GP to budget, determining food inventory needs including managing stock, waste and ordering.
  • Take total responsibility for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
  • Develop your team to effectively communicate and consistently hold them to account on every shift to ensure that our guests receive exceptional food standards.
  • Be responsible for the safety of your guests and the team while inside and leaving the venue.
  • Understand what it means to be compliant in our venues and utilise the systems provided to do so.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene practices and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage and own the kitchen labour spend, rota planning to budget.
  • Ensure our recruitment is in line with company guidelines, recruiting brilliant skill and the correct people to elevate your team's delivery.
  • Conduct biannual team performance reviews, consistently training your team, encouraging development and company engagement with initiatives such as Kitchen Collabs and Apprenticeship Schemes.
  • Engage with various programs whether that's in Development or Kitchen Engagement initiatives.
  • Work independently, whilst collaborating with your General Manager and HQ to strategically plan the future of your kitchen, always thinking financially & commercially.
Who You'll Be:
  • A proactive and warm leader, high energy and someone who loves to bring people together.
  • Leadership experience as a Senior Sous or Head Chef, specialising in the coordination and execution of multiple, distinct food concepts.
  • Have a keen eye for standards and take pride in every dish served.
  • Creative, innovative and forward thinking.
  • Someone who keeps calm when the tickets ramp up and service is in full flow.
