Join us as our Specifications Technologist where you’ll play a vital role in the development and manufacture of evidence-based and science-backed nutrition products.

We’ve been helping to transform people’s lives for 40 years and our Technical & Regulatory team play a vital role in making sure products are produced to the highest standard, legally, safely, and within the correct regulations, as we aim to improve health and wellbeing for the long‑term.

Location: Corby, Northants

Hours of work: Monday - Friday: 08:30-16:30

What will I be doing?

  • Building on your specifications and food labelling knowledge, you’ll take ownership of all specifications and product information for the business, taking recipe information from NPD, creating PIDs for our commercial teams and International Distributors, along with creation and maintenance of Quality Attribution Sheets (QAS).
  • Review packaging templates and recipes to create back of pack product information.
  • Create Product Information Documentation and specifications for new products and product formats.
  • Apply for product tariff codes, and support our Export team with regulatory compliance for international markets.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement efforts for the department.

Am I the right person for this job?

  • Strong attention to detail is essential, as at the core of your activity will be creating and checking product information and ensuring it is correct and compliant.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar / Specifications role with exposure to working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint etc) as you’ll be creating and updating a lot of physical documentation and supporting digitisation projects.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to partner with various internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • An adaptable approach to working in a fast‑paced environment and managing different work criteria.
  • Strong organisation skills and a self‑motivation to take the initiative in your workload.
