Overview

The Manager will support the planning and delivery of high-profile NFL International activations on behalf of AMEX. This role will contribute to the coordination and execution of live events across multiple international markets, supporting senior team members in delivering best‑in‑class fan experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging events professional with experience in sports and live events, looking to develop their operational expertise within a fast‑paced, global environment.

What You Will Doing

  • Project Planning & Pre-Production
    • Support the planning and coordination of live activations from concept through to delivery
    • Assist in developing briefs and schedules
    • Coordinate key project elements including signage, branding, event structures, and technical requirements
    • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support planning, including supplier options and market-specific requirements
    • Assist with international planning elements such as permits, visas, licenses, and logistics coordination
  • Production & On‑Site Delivery
    • Provide on‑site production support across build, live, and de‑rig phases of events
    • Assist in coordinating suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
    • Support the management of production offices, schedules, and day‑to‑day operational needs on‑site
    • Help troubleshoot issues in real time, escalating to senior team members where required
    • Assist with local production elements including print
  • Budget & Commercial Support
    • Support budget tracking and reconciliation across assigned workstreams
    • Assist in sourcing supplier quotes, raising purchase orders, and managing expenses
    • Contribute to the development of budget components for larger projects
    • Maintain awareness of project scope and support the team in identifying efficiencies
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
    • Support supplier onboarding and ensure all required documentation is completed
    • Act as a reliable point of contact for day‑to‑day communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Health & Safety & Compliance
    • Support the implementation of health & safety processes across all events
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with local regulations and operational requirements
    • Maintain awareness of potential risks and elevate concerns appropriately
  • Team Collaboration & Support
    • Work collaboratively across teams, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment
    • Assist senior team members with project delivery, taking ownership of defined tasks and smaller workstreams

  • Requirements
    • 2–3 years’ experience in event production, operations, or experiential marketing
    • Experience supporting live event delivery, ideally within sports or entertainment environments
    • Basic understanding of event infrastructure, production processes, and on‑site delivery
    • Experience working with suppliers and supporting operational logistics
    • Exposure to budget tracking and financial processes, with the ability to support larger budget builds
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Willingness and availability to travel internationally
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, can‑do attitude
