What You Will Be Doing

The Junior Analyst supports the Performance team in delivering data-informed insights to clients. This role focuses on the effective structuring, analyses, collection and application of data to improve audience understanding and campaign performance. Working closely with senior team members, you will assist in data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding, while developing a strong foundation in data strategy and digital analytics. The position reports into the Data Strategist & Senior Director of the Performance Team.

Responsibilities

  • CLIENT WORK
    • Client Activation Support (60%)
      • Assist in preparing data for pre-campaign planning, including gathering and organising first-party, zero-party, and behavioural data.
      • Support post-campaign analysis by compiling data from surveys, websites, and campaigns to identify trends and insights, leveraging analytical skills beyond frequency analysis to answer the ‘why’ as well as the ‘what’.
      • Help build and maintain dashboards and reports for internal and client use.
      • Assist with data quality checks and audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
      • Conduct data analysis to identify patterns in audience behaviour and campaign performance.
      • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver on ad‑hoc requests from client teams whilst maintaining a high standard of analytical delivery.
      • Support account teams by providing data inputs for reporting cycles (e.g. QBRs).
      • Ability to understand varying multi‑client business contexts and is able to use the data to tell a relevant and impactful story.
      • Combine our marketing tech stack, AI tools and your analytical mindset to provide actionable insights that drive campaign performance.
    • Client Consultancy Support (15%)
      • Assist in audience research and segmentation using available datasets.
      • Support website and app analytics reporting.
      • Help prepare reports on digital performance and campaign effectiveness.
      • Contribute to data audits and tracking reviews under supervision.
    • NEW BUSINESS (10%)
      • Support the development of data inputs for pitches and proposals.
      • Build out data models and assist in compiling audience insights and performance forecasting to support strategic recommendations.
    • INTERNAL (15%)
      • Support the development and maintenance of internal tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
      • Assist with data cleaning, organization, and basic automation tasks.
      • Contribute to improving and maintaining internal processes and documentation.
      • Actively participate in training and development to build technical and strategic skills.
  • Skills And Experience Required
    • 1–3+ years’ experience in data, analytics, or strategy.
    • Strong interest in data, analytics, statistics and audience strategy, with an ability to be highly inquisitive around the possible relationships that exist within a dataset.
    • Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights and clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets.
    • Familiarity with B.I tools (e.g. Tableau, Snowflake, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and SQL is a plus.
    • Where possible and appropriate, confidently leverage and collaborate with AI platforms to increase work efficiency and output.
    • Foundational understanding of digital marketing and analytics ecosystems.
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
    • Good organisational and time management skills.
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a team environment.
    • Interest in sport and entertainment is advantageous.
