As Chef de Partie, you will run a designated section of the kitchen and support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering a consistent, high-quality food offer.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of your section during prep and service, ensuring quality, consistency and pace throughout.
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to the agreed standard, supporting an imaginative and high-quality offer delivered consistently each day.
- Maintain excellent organisation and communication with other sections to ensure smooth service across restaurant, bar and outdoor areas.
- Maintain accurate stock levels on your section: correct receiving, storage, labelling/date coding, rotation and reporting of shortages or quality issues.
- Help manage food cost control through correct portioning, efficient use of ingredients and waste reduction.
- Maintain the kitchen to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, meeting legislative requirements and internal standards.
