We have an exciting opportunity here at Thatchers for a Field Sales Executive who is based in and around South Somerset/ East Devon region, covering key areas such as: Taunton, Chard, Yeovil, Exeter city centre, Axminster, Lyme Regis, West Bay & Bridport, and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time permanent position which will require you to visit on-trade premises and help our customers to sell more cider. We are looking for a motivated and flexible person to increase brand presence of our premium ciders.

What will I be doing?

  • Grow your territory through identifying new opportunities, to increase volume through product distribution within existing and new customers.
  • Enhance customer/consumer engagement through tours, tastings, events, product placement and POS.
  • Build relationships with route to market partners and key customers.
  • Occasionally undertake overnight stays.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working in the on-trade/ with on-trade customers, and/or experience of working in a field sales role.
  • Knowledge of the on-trade is preferable.
  • Pro-active, resilient, with relationship/rapport building skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage your time.
  • Analytical and numerate.
  • Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • A good level of IT literacy.
  • A full, valid driving license.
