The Role:

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation of cost estimates, tender documentation, and contract administration processes
- Contributing to project delivery activities from early stages through to practical completion
- Attending site inspections and progress meetings with the wider project team
- Helping to prepare client reports, valuations, and stakeholder communications
- Building working relationships with contractors, design consultants, and client representatives
- Developing practical knowledge in financial control, risk assessment, and value engineering
- Undertaking regional site visits as part of your development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Built Environment, or related construction disciplines (Degree, HNC, or BTEC level)
- A solid grasp of construction processes and contract principles
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and numerical aptitude
- Self-motivated attitude with genuine enthusiasm to learn and progress
- Valid UK driving licence with clean record
