A highly regarded design practice specialising in high-density urban living is seeking an accomplished Architectural Technologist to join its London-based technical team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, design-led residential and mixed-use developments across BTR, PBSA and major regeneration schemes in prime urban locations. Projects are fast-paced, technically challenging and delivered for leading institutional developers and investment-backed clients.
The Role:
- You will take ownership of technical delivery from RIBA Stage 3 onwards, translating ambitious planning-approved designs into coordinated, construction-ready information.
- Producing detailed, accurate and coordinated drawing packages in Revit.
- Developing technical solutions across large, multi-unit residential schemes.
- Preparing and managing specifications using NBS Chorus.
- Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, fire strategy, residential standards and planning conditions.
- Coordinating with structural, MEP and façade consultants.
- Responding to contractor queries and supporting project teams through delivery stages.
- Contributing to quality control and technical consistency across projects.
You will be working within a technically rigorous environment where accuracy, programme awareness and commercial understanding are essential.
About You:
- Minimum 2+ years' UK experience on medium to large-scale residential developments.
- CIAT accredited or actively progressing toward chartership.
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential).
- Experience using NBS Chorus.
- Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and residential compliance standards.
- Confident managing your own workload within deadline-driven programmes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams.
- Has the right to live and work in the UK.
- Experience on high-density urban schemes, BTR or PBSA developments would be particularly advantageous but essential.
