This is the first full-time content hire at That Money Guy. You'll work directly alongside Gabriel every single day, right at the centre of everything we make. Not in support of the operation. In it.
The two immediate priorities are getting our short-form content to the next level across every platform, and building the YouTube production system from scratch together. Everything else grows from there.
You should be ready for around three days a week in person in London. Some weeks it'll be more, some weeks less, depending on what we're working on. No two weeks will look the same. The pace is real, the creative freedom is genuine, and everything you help build will be publicly visible. You'll have a body of work you can genuinely point to.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Producing and managing content across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, LinkedIn and the newsletter
- Building the YouTube production workflow alongside Gabriel and getting the first videos made
- Working on the newsletter and LinkedIn with real creative independence, not just executing a brief
- Developing new series, recurring formats and ideas that don't exist yet
- Filming content and understanding the edit well enough to brief our editor and move fast when needed
- Keeping a genuine eye on what's working in social and content right now and bringing it into what we do
- Thinking about how every piece of content connects across platforms, not just what goes live today
- Pitching ideas constantly and being the person who actually makes them happen
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You're genuinely online. You notice things before they trend and you have real opinions about why content works
- You understand social media at a deep level, not just how to post, but how it actually works
- You can film and understand the edit well enough to move fast and brief an editor properly
- You write well across formats, scripts, newsletters, captions, without losing quality or voice
- You get performance, retention, hooks, watch time, and you use that to make better decisions
- You bring ideas proactively and follow through without being chased
- You're comfortable using AI tools as part of your production workflow
- You don't need to be a finance expert. You need to be brilliant at making complex things worth watching and reading.
WORKING CULTURE
This is a close working relationship. You'll be involved in decisions, not just execution. Gabriel is direct, moves fast, and expects the same in return. If you have an idea, say it. If something isn't working, say that too. The best version of this role is a genuine creative partnership, and that only works if both people are honest.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Base salary: £38,000 to £42,000 depending on experience
- Salary review: Formal review after six months
- Performance bonus: Views and platform earnings bonus, terms shared during the process
- Flexible working: Roughly three days in person, scales up and down with what we're working on
- Wellbeing days: Two additional paid wellbeing days per year
- Kit: Camera, lighting, laptop provided if needed
- Network access: You'll be working inside the UK creator world, alongside Gabriel's brand partnerships, collaborations and the wider Creator Leaders network
- Finance knowledge: Working with Gabriel, your own finances will almost definitely get better. That's a genuine perk.
- Career growth: This is the first full-time content hire. As the operation scales, so does this role.
Note: All of the above is compulsory to be considered for the role. Applications close Friday 14 August at 11:59pm BST. Every application treated with complete discretion.
