We’re hiring two Part-Time Gym Leads for a premium 5,000 sq ft gym and studio inside a corporate office building in central Birmingham (10 min walk from New Street station). This is a hands-on, people-first role. You’ll be the face of the gym during your shifts, keeping the space running smoothly, supporting members, and helping build a great training culture.
Pay and Hours
- Pay: £20 per hour + ability to build up personal training revenue outside of these hours
- Hours: Likely 2 hours per day (weekdays) – rota TBC and can be flexible
Responsibilities
- Welcome members, deliver gym inductions, and be present on the gym floor
- Keep standards high: cleanliness, presentation, daily checks and issue logging
- Deliver 2–3 gym-floor based fitness classes per week (within your paid hours)
- Help drive engagement and create an inclusive, motivating environment
- Opportunity to build PT clients within the building around your rota
- Confident coaching across a range of abilities
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Great communication and customer service
Desirable Qualifications
- Desirable: First Aid qualified (or happy to complete)
