A multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy require a Building Control Surveyor to join their Compliance team. As a Building Control Surveyor you will work as part of a growing team to deliver solutions to meet clients’ aims, objectives and aspirations within the Building Safety Act and current Building Regulations. You will work both independently and as part of a team on small-medium to large sized projects, including education, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure and new build housing. These will mainly be throughout the Midlands and the North, however there may be an occasional project further afield. Duties will include Providing guidance on the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations. Conducting plan reviews and design assessments to ensure compliance for Building Regulation submissions. Attending client and design team meetings. Delivering technical advice to clients, contractors, colleagues, developers and key stakeholders. Ensuring project design is completed in line with current building regulations and legislation. Maintaining high-quality project outputs and deliverables. Writing reports including End of Design Stage Reports and Building Regulations Trackers. Inspecting properties and buildings at key stages of the design process.
