Do you have the curiosity and creativity to spot stories that differentiate our business and amplify the personality of our people, so that customers, colleagues, and prospects gain a better understanding of what makes our organisation special? If you do, we want you to become part of our story!
Tharsus Group Ltd has three different market offers. Universal Wolf Ltd and Tharsus Ltd are service businesses, while VersaTile Automation Ltd is a logistics automation product business. Our sites are in an easily accessible location that offers a great quality of life in Blyth, Southeast Northumberland.
We are looking for a part-time Communications Lead to work across all our businesses, ideally 1 ½ to 2 days per week. The objective of the role is to bring these businesses and their brands to life and help to increase market awareness. It is our people who make our organisations special, so we specifically want to highlight the many stories we have of colleagues going above and beyond to support customers, and of design/technical ‘cleverosity’ that we bring to solving technical challenges or delivering commercial advantage.
We wish to do this primarily in short bite-size communications that tell individual small stories focusing on a specific event or a technical detail. In this way, one project may deliver several small interesting stories that are easy to digest. Think of a modern take on the old ‘news in brief’ column, rather than the 2-page editorial spread. Each company has its own personality and areas of focus, but our purpose and values are common.
What You’ll Do- Creating compelling and engaging stories about ‘the little things’ that make us exceptional.
- Bring our business brands, personality and values to life.
- Increased sector and/or market awareness of our businesses.
- Increase internal pride and confidence.
- Natural storytelling capability.
- The ability to collaborate, gaining the trust of the businesses to uncover the stories that can engage.
- The curiosity to find potential stories – both technical and people-orientated.
- An instinct for curating engagement and building traction on various media.
- Opportunity to be an integral part of the growth of the business.
- Great Benefits.
- Financial Wellbeing: Pension Exchange, Savings Scheme, Introduce a Colleague (get up to £1000!), discretionary Colleague Bonus.
