Purpose of the Position
We’re looking for a graduate to fuel our growth journey with enthusiasm and diverse perspectives. You’ll find ample support for your development and opportunities to shape the future of Tharsus. As a Graduate you will be part of a team who work together to ensure the success of our Engineering projects. From day one you will work on customer projects, working closely with our multi‑disciplined Engineering team and other cross‑functional departments.
Key Accountabilities
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and foster effective communication
- Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams to facilitate a clear understanding of projects and requirements
- Contribute to the identification of risks, quantification of risk impact and identification of mitigating actions for a given project or product
- Prepare technical documentation; specifications, schematics, drawings, BoM’s, design reports, risk assessments, etc.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and contribute to their implementation for optimised performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of both the department and the company
- Contribute to and support multiple projects at any one time
Education, Experience & Knowledge
- A Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Experience with Autodesk suite of products, e.g. Inventor, is a preference
- Practical experience of designing and developing mechanical products and components (demonstrated through work experience, university projects or home projects)
