We are looking for a Business Development Executive to help build and nurture a strong sales pipeline by engaging with the right kind of prospect organisations that share our ambition to achieve more and value true collaboration.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our growth strategy - spotting and developing high quality opportunities while working closely with our sales and account management colleagues.
What you will do:
- Developing validated opportunities to the point of first meeting stage.
- Researching to identify opportunities and provide market insights.
- Making first contact with decision-makers using a mix of outbound calls, emails, and social media.
- Coordinating and carrying out follow up activity to develop and nurture accounts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential customers.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the right actions happen at the right time.
- Providing account management support where required.
- Maintaining accurate account activity and updates within the CRM system.
- Reporting on account development and pipeline progress.
- Supporting wider sales and business activities as needed.

- Proven experience in Sales, Telesales, or Business Development role.
- A strong track record in prospect identification and cold calling.
- Confident and professional when engaging with new prospects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Agile, adaptable, and open to new challenges.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Proactive, approachable, and customer focused.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent (desirable).
- Experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment (desirable).
