About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play an important leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support while guiding colleagues to provide exceptional care and achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
- Lead shifts and support the smooth day-to-day running of the service
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to team members throughout each shift
- Deliver person-centred care, including personal care, medication administration and daily living support
- Promote independence, dignity, inclusion and community participation
- Maintain accurate care records, risk assessments, incident reports and medication documentation
- Build positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies while ensuring compliance with safeguarding and CQC standards
About You
We're looking for a caring and experienced individual who enjoys leading by example and is committed to delivering outstanding support within a person-centred environment.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care (or be willing to work towards one)
- Have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex needs
- Demonstrate experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues within a care setting
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards and professional boundaries
- Possess excellent communication, organisational and record-keeping skills
- Be compassionate, reliable, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care
