About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play an important leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support while guiding colleagues to provide exceptional care and achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.

  • Lead shifts and support the smooth day-to-day running of the service
  • Provide guidance, coaching and support to team members throughout each shift
  • Deliver person-centred care, including personal care, medication administration and daily living support
  • Promote independence, dignity, inclusion and community participation
  • Maintain accurate care records, risk assessments, incident reports and medication documentation
  • Build positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies while ensuring compliance with safeguarding and CQC standards

About You

We’re looking for a caring and experienced individual who enjoys leading by example and is committed to delivering outstanding support within a person-centred environment.

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care (or be willing to work towards one)
  • Have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex needs
  • Demonstrate experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues within a care setting
  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards and professional boundaries
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Be compassionate, reliable, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care
