As an MSO Trainer, you’ll be right at the heart of our Distribution team, helping our Multi‑Skilled Operatives thrive. Your work will make a real difference, from building confidence in new starters to elevating the skills of experienced colleagues. You’ll create meaningful training experiences, strengthen our safety‑first culture, and play a key role in supporting a high‑performing, motivated workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing- Delivering engaging onboarding and refresher training for MSOs.
- Supporting excellent Health & Safety compliance.
- Training colleagues in PPT and counterbalance MHE operation.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for all MSO processes.
- Coaching and guiding team leaders.
- Carrying out competency assessments.
- Helping build a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
We are looking for someone with the drive, knowledge and passion to develop people and champion best practice. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Strong training delivery skills with the ability to engage and develop colleagues.
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge, including LOLER/PUWER, with a focus on safe behaviours.
- Technical competence in MHE training (PPT/counterbalance) and MSO processes.
- Confident communicator and coach, able to give clear, constructive feedback.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations.
- Proactive, professional role model with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
- A flexible outlook in terms of shifts worked and duties undertaken.
- Good numeracy skills and strong attention to detail.
Every day is geared around delivering the highest quality training and supporting operational excellence. You could be delivering vehicle training, ensuring all candidates are trained to a high standard or delivering training in one of our operational areas. You will be coaching and supporting the team with all daily tasks and carrying out regular competency assessments to ensure high quality delivery. You will lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of safety, service and efficiency, playing a key role in our continuous improvement programme.
