We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our Distribution Team.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assisting in a range of distribution activities including preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Unloading and loading lorries using a Power Pallet truck (training will be provided).
  • Maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Carrying out tasks effectively as part of a close-knit team.
  • Assisting in replenishment duties.
  • Processing related administration to ensure accurate recording of movements and integrity of all goods.

  • PPT licence.
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
  • A flexible outlook in terms of shifts worked and duties undertaken.

Hours Of Work:

Thanet Earth is a 7 day a week operation. You will be required to work a 40 hour week over 5 days which could include weekends and bank holidays. It may also be necessary at times to work outside these hours to meet the demands of the business. Shift times are either 05:30-14:30 or 14:30-23:30. Please note: Due to our location and shift times it is recommended you have your own means of transport as public transport links to site are limited.
